Restylane
Like JUVÉDERM™, Restylane® is a hyaluronic acid compound, a substance that occurs naturally in the body. It is injected into the dermal layers of the skin area where you want more fullness and volume, such as the areas around the nose and mouth. The treatment also adds moisture and lubrication to your skin, making it feel smoother and softer. Because Dr. Sandel injects small amounts of the compound into the affected areas, the treatment could take up to 30 minutes. The treatment is safe and relatively pain-free.
Restylane® is a clear gel compound called NASHA (Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid) to help prevent the allergic reactions that might result from animal-based products. The effects of the Restylane® treatment should last up to six months.
