Pamela Zagula, LPN, LE is the owner of Advanced Medical Aesthetics a private, cosmetic medical skin care practice. Pam is a licensed nurse and licensed aesthetician with 23 years of clinical experience in medical aesthetics. She has worked with Plastic Surgery Specialists, Chesapeake Plastic Surgery and spent a year as a territory manager, clinical trainer and educator for Vibraderm. Her areas of expertise are: pre and post operative care of the skin, wound care, corrective make up, Vibraderm, IPL, LED light, micro-current and oxygen therapy as well as chemical peels and prescribing customized skin care programs.

Pumpkin Enzyme Peel

This powerful antioxidant treatment brightens, rejuvenates and clears pores while smoothing skin texture. Pumpkin enzymes are mixed with salicylic acid to gently exfoliate while simultaneously drawing impurities out, infusing vitamins, enzymes and nutrients into your skin. This is yummy and smells just like pumpkin pie.

Oxygenating Trio Treatment

This therapeutic treatment is loaded with antioxidants that correct and prevent free radical damage and reduce oxidative and environmental stress on the skin. AFA Clay Peel

This is a two-step peel using clay to loosen and draw out impurities, followed by Acidified Amino Acid complex solution. AFA is a potent stable antioxidant, natural hydrator and a powerful exfoliant It is used to treat acne and sun damage. It will leave your skin feeling clean, soft and glowing.

Sensi Peel

This gentle and very effective peel is formulated with TCA, lactic acid, azelaic acid, kojic acid and arbutin. Treats sun damage, acne, those with super sensitive skin, Rosacea and dark ethnic skin types.

K&Z Peel

A pre peel enzyme solution is applied to prep the skin followed by the peel, a combination of Zeatin, Kinetin, AHA’s, algae extracts, green and white tea. This potent and gentle peel is plant based DNA technology and is loaded with antioxidants to brighten and rejuvenate your skin.

Ultra Peel I

This is a blended TCA peel specially formulated to treat dehydrated, menopausal and mature skin. Those with pigment disorders, fine lines and wrinkles, sun-damage or acne are perfect candidates for this peel. The final results will be, plump, hydrated and ultra soft skin.

Vi Peel

This exciting new peel is the rage in South Beach as well as the talk about town in Hollywood. This highly potent cocktail mixes TCA, phenol, retinoic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid and vitamin C, to treat uneven pigmentation due to sun damage, acne and hormone flux (BC pills, HRT, pregnancy). It will refresh and brighten your complexion, improve your skin tone; firm and smooth fine lines and wrinkles. It does have a 7-10 day peeling depending on skin sensitivity and is recommended for light as well as dark ethnic skin tones. It can be done every 6-8 weeks until optimal results are obtained.

Vibraderm with Vibrafusion

Crystal Free microdermabrasion at it’s best. This process is gentle, safe and clinically proven to remove more of the dead skin layer and penetrate nutrients into the deep layers of the skin making each treatment far more effective than conventional crystal or non crystal microdermabrasion. As with any peel process the effects are accumulative. Vibraderm will help repair fine lines, sun damage, and skin pigmentation changes such as age spots. The skin is left smooth as silk.

Jessner TCA Peel

The combination of Jessner Solution and Trichloroacetic Acid has been a gold standard peel for many years. It is great for acne as well as photo damage. The solution is applied in layers and within 3 days produces a sheet like peel for 7-10 days uncovering beautiful, healthy, pink skin. This peel can be done every other month until desired results are achieved.

Salicylic Acid Peel 20% or 30%

This peel accelerates cell turn over and helps to clear clogged pores. It is antibacterial as well as anti-inflammatory therefore making it an excellent peel for acne. It is also a great peel for sun damaged skin. A light flakey peel for 3-5 days will be experienced by most, however oily skin may not see skin peel.

BBL Photo Rejuvenation

bbl is a broad spectrum therapeutic light that targets the reds and browns in the skin. It is not a LASER. It is applied in a series of pulses over the treatment area without damaging the skin. The energy is absorbed by the abnormally dilated blood vessels and pigment. The heat impairs the vessels or lesion, and the body begins its natural healing process.

Broadband Light is a safe and effective treatment for sun damage, age spots, freckles, dull complexion, rosacea, flushing, broken capillaries, acne, large pores, poikiloderma, and facial hair reduction (dark coarse hair, light skin responds best). Please discontinue waxing, tweezing and resort to shaving in areas for hair reduction. Please abstain from natural, artificial and self tanning 2 weeks prior to treatment. You may need as many as 3-5 treatments.
