Case Study #1341

Facelift, Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty, Endoscopic Forehead Lift, Laser Skin Resurfacing

Closeup of Incisions Around The Ear

Incisions are placed around the ear in order to remove excess skin with the least amount of visible scars.  In front of the ear, the suture line extends just inside the ear canal, virtually eliminating a visible incision!  With a gentle curve of the incision behind the ear and into the hairline, you have the ability to style your hair as freely as you would like without anyone ever noticing.

Most importantly, the earlobe is not pulled onto the neck…. a telltale sign of a facelift procedure.  Dr. Sandel uses a technique that cradles the earlobe, protecting it from having a pulled appearance.  You can even have enlarged earlobes reduced at the same time using this method!

Case Study #2360

Facelift, Blepharoplasty, Endoscopic Forehead Lift

This patient is an early one month postop follow-up from a facelift with prejowl implants. She shows a marked reduction and elevation of the skin and tissue of the lower face and neck. The jowls were removed while the implants give her jawline a more youthful, rounded appearance.

Her incisions are well hidden inside and around the ear and earlobe, allowing her full freedom to style her hair. This is a substantial lift without pulling on the corners of the mouth or giving her an unnatural appearance.

Case Study #3425

Six months following a type 1 facelift and upper and lower blepharoplasty.
Prior to surgery she desired an improvement in the skin laxity around
the eyes, mouth, and jawline. Her postop photo shows an excellent
improvement of the lower face and jawline as well as the redundant skin
of the upper and lower eyelids.
