This patient had a chin implant at the time of her rhinoplasty. This is a three-month postoperative view. The chin plays a large part in the appearance of the face from the profile view. Small chins sometimes make the nose look larger or longer than it really is. Therefore, augmenting the chin with a soft implant gives the face a more symmetrical appearance as well as moving the focus away from the nose.
